The 2009 Models Have Arrived!

Talk about stand up paddleboard buzz and excitement along with a flurry of activity at Santa Cruz Boardsports over the weekend! The first shipment of 2009 Angulo stand up paddle boards has arrived and staff went to work getting them prepped and ready for pre-paid customers, drop-offs at various surf shops along the Cali coast, and a selection of boards for display and discussion by the master himself, Ed Angulo, at the Sacred Craft Expo on October 11 and 12 in Del Mar CA.

Needless to say the boards are incredibly beautiful and unique. Everyone who sees them for the first time just does a double take. The colors, designs and finish are impeccable, and these boards are built to perform, to paddle, and to last. Once again durability is bomb proof!

Andy, Dave and Gary dug into the task at hand and moved quickly through the process of applying new deck pads and clear grip to the new SUPs. Then the hand holds had to be cut and trimmed and the fins installed for those lucky folks who would soon be picking up their new boards. Then everything was packed up again for the trip to the warehouse, and down south.
