Aloha

I had an incredible day out supping the blue board (10-10 Gu’d Ride) in Mokuleia at the BOAT---a right hander 3-5 feet. Just my son in law Marty--He had the orange board (10-2 Perfect Wave)-- and me the only guys out for two hours. Got perfect tapered rights and was going so fast we could hear the standard fins humming when we kicked out. The best time I have had in years. All the waves you could eat. I do need to change the fin. It was not as loose as I wanted it--I found a 8 1/2" wingnut cut away--I will try that one. Still in two hours I never wiped out or got caught inside and can not even count how many waves I rode. I do not think I will go back to my 9'6" long board ever again. I am hooked! Marty said the orange board was loose. I blew it because I should have tried it. We were so stoked I almost lost my voice from screaming at Marty on every wave.--WOW

Also...Heading out the door for a surf session. Rode Alligators at 5 foot on the green board--worked real well...looser with all the rocker and the smaller tail. Had another day -dropped off at three tables paddled down to Laniakea and caught waves all down the coast- best spot rightovers 2foot to 5 foot nobody out. We were noodles when we finally hit the beach- all on the green boards. Andy that's like starting at sewer peak and getting out at capitola pier.

Totally STOKED---BRUCE, SUP Hawaii

Andrew,

Love the 2009 Big Buggah (11-11 Big Buggah)!! Although "allegedly" for my wife and guests, it's now my favorite and nicely improved over the 2008 model being even more stable, easier to turn and the enhanced rocker makes the drops easier as well.

Open water paddling is fast - here's our trip cruising out to check out the tankers parked off of El Segundo. One warning though - security guys in tugboats don't like guys in black wetsuits approaching tankers filled with oil!

Thanks for making it all happen.

Mr. Andy,
I want to thank you for (my) new Angulo. I am still at the kook stage, but seem to be getting more comfortable on it daily. I think I am glad I got the 11'11" (Big Buggah). It really surprises me how well it surfs for such a big board.

I surfed 38th the other day and there were three of us out. One guy on the 10'2" (Perfect Wave), the other on the 10'10" (Gu’d Ride) and myself on the Big (green) Buggah. Just look what you've started.

Sometime I would love to try out the 10'10" and see if I am missing anything.

Anyway, it seems that I am hooked on another water sport and I wanted to say thank you.

Hey Andy

(We) got some awesome waves the other day at this place called Tybee Island, pronounced, “Tie Bee.” I met up with some of the locals as this low pressure was moving from on shore to off shore which created a perfect off shore wind. They're dredging the ocean out in front of the beaches to bring back some of the sand that has been washed away by the storms. Anyway it's created a perfect bottom in spots, got a late take off on this one that was over six foot and had a nice long wall to it, got a good nose ride (on the 11-11 Big Buggah). Water isn't as cold as it was at the ranch and definitely not as cold as Santa Cruz. I talked to a few of the guys about Ed's boards & they told me they'd really like to check one out. So hopefully all these people will get on the stick and buy some. Is it ok to tell them that I'm the Angulo rep. here in Savannah, not looking for a title, just need to know what to say?

Again thanks for thinking of me, say hello to Gary for me if you see him, enjoyed his encouragement. Say hello to Ed the next time you talk, or see him. Tell Gary those pictures he took that day at the ranch and put online came out great, Good memories.

Blessing Bro,
Dan
