I surfed a spot on Molokai&amp;#39; called ???????? on a 4-6&amp;#39; day. The conditions were vintage Hawaii, offshore trades 10 - 15 with a bumpy ocean surface. Strong current and lots of water moving. I had surfed the spot before the old way (lay down paddle) but since it was my first time out stand up I was a little apprehensive. By the time I paddled out the sets were double overhead (it didn&amp;#39;t look that big from the beach) top to bottom jacking up over the rock reef. The take-offs were steep and sucking with a fast shoulder. The board worked flawlessly in these conditions. The tail and rails held on the take-off and handled the down line speed without a problem. My home break is Dog Patch and Church in So. Cal. so this wave was a challenge for me. The board most definitely allowed me to push my limits and I feel more confident in my abilities. I am 6&amp;#39;3&amp;#39; and 215 lbs. with two years on a SUP and 38 years surfing altogether. This board was very stable and paddled well. For a smaller, lighter person it would be a good flat water paddler as well as a surf board. Ed designed this to surf and it does that very well. Get your hands on one and try it out. You won&amp;#39;t be disappointed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Steve</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/2237448576176716475/4491631518822358294/comments/default/2508289661573851762'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/2237448576176716475/4491631518822358294/comments/default/2508289661573851762'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.angulosups.com/2009/04/new-boards-and-great-deals-for-spring.html?showComment=1258488369289#c2508289661573851762' title=''/><author><name>Steve</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/05406227038794389309</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.angulosups.com/2009/04/new-boards-and-great-deals-for-spring.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2237448576176716475.post-4491631518822358294' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/2237448576176716475/posts/default/4491631518822358294' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
